Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, deep breath in slow breath out, allowing your thoughts to roll around your head and disappear on the out breath allowing your body to relax and your mind to remain alert.
On the next in breath – focus on your arms, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel your hands relax, as you allow yourself to relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath focus on your legs, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel the tension drain from your legs as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath – focus on your pelvis, feel the tension in the pelvis, on the out breath allow it to relax – as you relax deeper and deeper.
Now focus on the chest area – feel the shallowness of your breath, feel how high it is in your chest, how anxiety and worry is breathed into the chest area – feel yourself deepen your breath as you draw it deeper into your body, as you do, feel a deep sense of relaxation spread through the body as your breathing slows and you begin to release all tension from deep within the body as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath feel your awareness being drawn in through the solar plexus and find yourself in the internal corridor. If you can’t see then sense. Moving along the corridor in your mind look down – below you is the energy of caution held deep within your solar plexus beginning to rise. This energy is old – it’s so old it’s the habits of generations past. As this energy rises in the corridor of your solar plexus begin to see or sense what it is.
Now find yourself guided into the room of your solar plexus where the original energy of over caution resides. Here is the vibration associated with centuries past – allow yourself to see or sense where it comes from – ships, farming or another source. In here is the original energy of poverty consciousness that’s fuelled a fear of expansion, where over caution has ruled.
In your mind look around – see or sense what is going on. The sounds, the environment and the fear of the unknown presented to you from deep within your ancestry. Notice where you are – who is there and feel a figure coming towards you with a bird in a cage. They hand you the cage and walk away. The cage is wrapped in chains, chains that keep the bird firmly inside. Notice what type of bird it is, if it’s well kept or starved. The bird represents your caged energy – in your mind undo the chains, open the cage door and encourage the bird out. As it flies – feel a deep release in your solar plexus energy as the burden of caution lets go.
Now in your mind feel your awareness begin it’s return through the solar plexus. Feel the freedom of the bird, the deep relaxation as you return through the solar plexus to the physical body.
Allowing a deep feeling of calm to spread through your body, In your mind imagine tree roots emanating from the bottom of your feet, imagine them planting into the ground as you feel your awareness sinking deep into your every day world as you focus on your breathing and very gently bring your awareness back into the room and when you are ready – open your eyes.
