Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, deep breath in slow breath out, allowing your thoughts to roll around your head and disappear on the out breath allowing your body to relax and your mind to remain alert.
On the next in breath – focus on your arms, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel your hands relax, as you allow yourself to relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath focus on your legs, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel the tension drain from your legs as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath – focus on your pelvis, feel the tension in the pelvis, on the out breath allow it to relax – as you relax deeper and deeper.
Now focus on the chest area – feel the shallowness of your breath, feel how high it is in your chest, how anxiety and worry is breathed into the chest area – feel yourself deepen your breath as you draw it deeper into your body, as you do, feel a deep sense of relaxation spread through the body as your breathing slows and you begin to release all tension from deep within the body as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath – feel your awareness being drawn in through the sacral chakra – this is the area below your belly button. As you breath in – feel your awareness feel sucked in, to the internal corridor, if you can’t see then sense.
In this space – feel your awareness moving along the corridor, it has orange walls, notice if the walls are a bright or dull orange. As you go deeper into this space – the walls become a dark, grungy looking orange – the air feels thicker – this is the energy of restriction – notice how you feel about it. In the corridor you are met by the person or a representation of that person – who assigned you your role in life. They are dressed in a costume that represents the era in which they came from or if they are a person you know, dressed as a figure representing the authority of this energy over you. Are they male or female?
This person takes you to the door marked – Your Role In Life. They open the door and usher you in. As you step into this space – become aware of how it is presented to you. What’s in there, the furniture, if there is any, the people in there – if there is anyone present. In this space the authority – shows you the role you took on, the one you have been following. Notice if they try to keep you to your role or if they say, they were just following previous instructions.
In this space – in your mind, allow yourself a tantrum. Tell them you want your own path, you don’t want a role anymore. Ask them to show you your own path options. As you do, feel the space open up, feel all the containment of role playing evaporate as your inner world opens up, feel the possibility of expansion and what it would feel like to step onto your own path.
In this space – feel the expansion through your sacral energy. Even if you don’t know what your own path is, feel the opportunity, feel yourself give yourself permission to find it.
In your mind, feel your awareness leaving this space and returning to the corridor of the sacral energy, as you move along the corridor, notice how the orange has changed, it will be brighter as you return your awareness through the sacral chakra, spreading through your body. In your mind imagine tree roots emanating from the bottom of your feet, imagine them planting into the ground as you feel your awareness sinking deep into your every day world as you focus on your breathing and very gently bring your awareness back into the room and when you are ready – open your eyes.
