Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, deep breath in slow breath out, allowing your thoughts to roll around your head and disappear on the out breath allowing your body to relax and your mind to remain alert.
On the next in breath – focus on your arms, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel your hands relax, as you allow yourself to relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath focus on your legs, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel the tension drain from your legs as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath – focus on your pelvis, feel the tension in the pelvis, on the out breath allow it to relax – as you relax deeper and deeper.
Now focus on the chest area – feel the shallowness of your breath, feel how high it is in your chest, how anxiety and worry is breathed into the chest area – feel yourself deepen your breath as you draw it deeper into your body, as you do, feel a deep sense of relaxation spread through the body as your breathing slows and you begin to release all tension from deep within the body as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath feel your awareness being drawn in through the heart centre, the centre of your chest and find yourself in the internal corridor – if you can’t see then sense.
As you move along the corridor – feel in your mind, a person appear from the shadows. This person is the one who your inner world has stored as the person who has triggered insecurity in you your unconscious wants to release. They are the one who has tried the most to hide the fact they don’t want you to see their own emotional insecurity. See or sense if you’re surprised who this is.
As you meet them in the corridor – they take you to a room to show you how their heart energy of love, has interacted with yours. As you go into this room there are two boxes on a table. One box has their heart energy in it, and the other box yours.
They go to the table and pick up their box – notice if they are reluctant to show you what’s in it. What’s in it is a representation of the state of their heart energy. As they open the box see or sense how this is shown to you.
What’s in there is a representation of how their insecurity has impacted you.
As you open your box, inside is a heart shape, as you look at it, the colour of it reflects how their insecurity has upset you. How it left a mark with you. In your mind, pick up the heart shape and say to the other person present “I no longer accept your insecurity, it’s not mine to take.” As you do – look back at your heart shape in your hands and see or sense the colour change – see it begin to brighten until eventually it has a bright golden glow.
In your mind look back at the other person – as your heart glows, their heart energy begins to release it’s burden until you feel yours becomes a bright golden glow. Putting your heart back in the box – feel the energy of it eminate and light the room.
In your mind, thank the other person for highlighting the energy you wanted to release and tell them you release them. As you do feel an expansion right the way through your body as you begin to return your awareness to the physical body
In your mind imagine tree roots emanating from the bottom of your feet, imagine them planting into the ground as you feel your awareness sinking deep into your every day world as you focus on your breathing and very gently bring your awareness back into the room and when you are ready – open your eyes.
