Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, deep breath in slow breath out, allowing your thoughts to roll around your head and disappear on the out breath allowing your body to relax and your mind to remain alert.
On the next in breath – focus on your arms, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel your hands relax, as you allow yourself to relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath focus on your legs, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel the tension drain from your legs as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath – focus on your pelvis, feel the tension in the pelvis, on the out breath allow it to relax – as you relax deeper and deeper.
Now focus on the chest area – feel the shallowness of your breath, feel how high it is in your chest, how anxiety and worry is breathed into the chest area – feel yourself deepen your breath as you draw it deeper into your body, as you do, feel a deep sense of relaxation spread through the body as your breathing slows and you begin to release all tension from deep within the body as you relax deeper and deeper.
On the next in breath – feel your awareness being drawn in through the throat chakra – this is the the centre of your throat area. As you breath in – feel your awareness feel sucked in, to the internal corridor, if you can’t see then sense.
In this space – feel your awareness moving along the corridor, feel as you go deep into this space the corridor is covered in cobwebs. Notice how thick these cobwebs are for you to get through, this the thickness of rejection energy stored in you from having to keep quiet and not speak your truth. Pushing your way through – find yourself at the bottom of a spiral staircase moving upwards – as you climb the stairs, feel the relief of having left the cobwebs and found the staircase. As you get to the top – open the door and go inside. This is your space of your higher truth, feel your awareness at the top of a tower looking out. From here you can see clearly.
The world below is your world, the world you’ve negotiated with the fear of rejection. Look to see or sense what in that world you have been shy to go towards in case of rejection. The opportunities you’ve side stepped in case they don’t work out.
Now in your mind go back down the stairs – through the cobwebs, to the door that goes out into that world. See or sense in this world of yours the source of rejection. As you approach it, say to it – “I forgive you, I no longer wish to learn from rejection, I want to engage my truth” As you do, see or sense the energy of rejection begin to dissolve.
In this space – feel the expansion through your throat energy. Even if you can’t see your truth, let yourself engage with the possibility of it, own the expansion.
In your mind, feel your awareness leaving this space and returning to the corridor of the throat chakra energy, as you move along the corridor, notice how the cobwebs have changed, it will be clearer as you return your awareness through the throat chakra, spreading through your body. In your mind imagine tree roots emanating from the bottom of your feet, imagine them planting into the ground as you feel your awareness sinking deep into your every day world as you focus on your breathing and very gently bring your awareness back into the room and when you are ready – open your eyes.
