At a small island airport, a young entrepreneur hears: “Flight cancelled.”
Around him there are queues, complaints and chaos.
Inside of him is a calm, accurate - “yes”.
He walks to the desk, hires a plane, borrows a piece of chalk and writes “Virgin” on a board, and then he sells seats for a flight in the hired plane to the other stranded passengers. No committee meeting. No over-explanation. Just the body’s clean - “yes” honoured before the noise arrives.
That chalkboard moment became part of Richard Branson’s origin story. It was not recklessness. It was Soul Trust in action.
If you’ve been labelled “too sensitive,” you learned to survive by becoming adaptable, the one who bends, pleases and keeps the peace. Useful once, but costly now. Adaptability trains you to override the very sense that keeps you safe and successful: your consistently accurate intuition.
Your first signal is quiet and clean. It lands as a yes/no, felt in the body before words come.
What interferes with your intuition?
The development of the ego in the early years, resulting in layers of shame, guilt, apathy, grief and fear, all rushing in with judgments: Don’t make a fuss. What if I’m wrong? Prove it first.
Those layers lower your frequency and talk you out of what you already know.
Branson’s story isn’t so much about his personality; it’s about fewer interruptions between the accurate yes and the next small move. That is Soul Trust: letting sensitivity and intuition be a marriage made in heaven.
Sensitive doesn’t mean fragile; it means finely tuned. Finely tuned systems don’t need to shout, they need to be honoured.
Practice for today (takes one minute):
In Week 1 of Achieve Success: Developing Intuition, we rebuild Soul Trust: how “sensitive” became “adaptable,” how the five ego layers blur guidance, and how to raise your frequency so your intuition becomes consistently accurate and easy to act on.
Ask: “What is my first accurate yes here?” Then take one step that respects it: send the email, decline the invite, make the call, or rest.
This Week’s Big Idea
Stop second-guessing: Trust your first signal because raising your frequency starts with honouring the first - yes.
Just because acting from Soul Trust is unfamiliar, this doesn’t make it unsafe.
Take a minute and share the ‘chalkboard moment’ you practiced above with me in the private group, because your story will help someone else hear their clean yes.
