How Hidden Attachment Patterns Drain Your Energy

You may think you’re “just tired,” but the real drain on your energy might be hidden attachment patterns shaping how you show up in relationships.

These patterns often run beneath your awareness, dictating how you respond to conflict, needs and connection:

  • Anxious attachment can leave you over-explaining, people-pleasing and absorbing others’ emotions to avoid feeling abandoned
  • Dismissive-avoidant attachment can push you to shut down your needs and emotions, staying busy to keep intimacy at a distance
  • Fearful-avoidant attachment can leave you craving closeness while also fearing it, leading to cycles of push-pull in your relationships
