Creating Your Happy World Meditation

Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, deep breath in slow breath out, allowing your thoughts to roll around your head and disappear on the out breath allowing your body to relax and your mind to remain alert.

On the next in breath – focus on your arms, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel your hands relax, as you allow yourself to relax deeper and deeper.

On the next in breath focus on your legs, notice the tension in the muscles, now allow the muscles to relax, feel the tension drain from your legs as you relax deeper and deeper.

On the next in breath – focus on your pelvis, feel the tension in the pelvis, on the out breath allow it to relax – as you relax deeper and deeper.

Now focus on the chest area – feel the shallowness of your breath, feel how high it is in your chest, how anxiety and worry is breathed into the chest area – feel yourself deepen your breath as you draw it deeper into your body, as you do, feel a deep sense of relaxation spread through the body as your breathing slows and you begin to release all tension from deep within the body as you relax deeper and deeper.

On the next in breath feel your awareness being drawn in through the solar plexus and find yourself in the internal corridor. If you can’t see then sense. As you go deeper into the solar plexus corridor start to feel as though it’s a bit crowded in there. The people milling around in the corridor are those who you unconscious world believes have to be pleased in order for you to be happy. See or sense who these people are. Are they society in general or specific people in your life?

One of them specifically comes up to you – they’re angry, accusing you of not fulfilling what they expect. Who are they? What do they say are their expectations? What is it they want from you?

Notice what you do – do you become angry or apologetic? Going deeper into the corridor feel your way towards the door marked ‘ my happiness’

Going inside – this room, leaving the rabble in the corridor – feel your awareness sense this space as a calm room. In the centre of it is a clear glass ball. As you move closer to the ball and place your hands on it. The ball absorbs your energy, it feels your vibration. As it does – the space inside the ball begins to flicker to life.

Now in your mind feel yourself push more energy into the ball, feel it brighten as the representation of your happy world becomes clearer and clearer and now feel the energy change – inside the ball you are shown an animal representation of what is in the way of you accepting your happy world.

See or sense what animal appears within the glass ball and allow your mind to show you what the animal represents. The animal begins to fade and…

Inside the ball a world starts to appear.

What starts to appear symbolises your happy world. The space at which your psyche, your inner world feels happy and centred. See or sense what appears. What represents your happy world. Allow yourself to feel it and accept it as you…

Allow a deep feeling of calm to spread through your body, In your mind imagine tree roots emanating from the bottom of your feet, imagine them planting into the ground as you feel your awareness sinking deep into your every day world as you focus on your breathing and very gently bring your awareness back into the room and when you are ready – open your eyes.
